Atlantic Strategic Minerals (ASM) is a US critical minerals processing company with mining and mineral processing operations in Southern Virginia.

We operate the largest mineral separation facility of its kind in North America — and we don't just process our own ore. ASM has the infrastructure, capacity, and expertise to process third-party critical mineral feedstock, offering producers across the US and beyond a reliable, domestic processing partner.

With the US increasingly focused on reducing reliance on foreign supply chains for critical minerals, ASM is uniquely positioned to play a central role — connecting domestic and allied mineral producers to US end-users in energy, defence, and advanced manufacturing.
Our Locations
In 2025, ASM restarted its mining and mineral processing facilities in Dinwiddie and Sussex Counties in Southern Virginia — a region with a long history of heavy mineral sands mining. Strategically located close to major US end-users, our facilities are ready to process both our own production and third-party feedstock.
